New Summary

Lovesick is about Emilia Sauri and her two loves, Daniel and Antonio. Through vivid imagery and details, Angeles Mastretta tells about Emilia's life, the good and the bad, highs and lows. Emilia has her childhood sweetheart and a doctor she meets later in life. She is torn between the two. She marries one but loves the other very deeply. For a fiction story it is so easy to relate too. It is a great novel that is so hard to put down.
