I don't think it was fair for her to leave Antonio when they are married. Yet I can also see how she should follow her heart. She should have taken her time be forgetting married. I suppose to decide how fair it is you have to be in Emilia's position.
Personally, I don't think it was right of Emilia to ditch Antonio like she did. If she knew in her heart that she loved Daniel (which it seems she did) then she shouldn't have rushed into a marriage with Antonio. Since Emilia and Daniel were childhood sweethearts, I think it would have been best if she had just never gotten involved with Antonio in the first place. If she truly loved Daniel, she should be willing to wait for him when he's gone. But if she loved Antonio, then she should put all romantic thoughts about Daniel aside.
