Antonio should have left because Emilia clearly has made her choice. He also could have stayed to not leave Emilia with nothing.
If I were in Antonio's shoes, I would definitely leave Emilia. It isn't right how she treated him. It's not fair to Antonio to have to live with a wife who leaves him for another man. He deserves better.
